Hotel Kuva Chateau has taken prevention procedrues  as following:
*All hotel staff including suppliers visiting the hotel premises must wear face masks and have their body temperatures measured and recorded.
*We kindly ask all guest to check temperature at check-in.
*If any hotel guest shows symptoms, such as coughing high body temperature (≧37.5°C) . Please inform our associate for assistance. We will assist the guest to seek medical attention.
*The hotel is obligated to report to corresponding authorities and reserves the right to refuse any person who fails to comply with instructions entry.
*Hand sanitizers are available in the public areas and the main entrances. The staff will disinfect the entire premises regularly to maintain a clean environment.
*The furniture, floor, and bathrooms in all guest rooms are cleaned with anti-bacterial cleaners to safeguard accommodation quality.
*Disinfectant sprays are available in the hotel’s reception area and restaurants. 
*Ear thermometers are available to assist guest to take their temperatures.
*If any hotel guest feels unwell or suffer symptoms, please wear face mask and contact any associates for further assistance.
Meanwhile, to prevent further spreading of the 2019 coronavirus (COVID-19), guests shall follow the following service policy and preventive measures to maintain public and personal health:
Service policy
The Hotel will evaluate the guests’ health with respect to risk of coronavirus infection before confirming whether the room and restaurant reservations are accepted. Regrettably, we will refuse reservations from guests with the following health risk concerns as well as reservations made on behalf of such guests through a third party. Room and restaurant reservations that have been completed will receive full refund of deposits.
• Those who receive Home Isolation Notice or Home-based Quarantine Notice and wish to stay at the hotel for quarantine purposes, or to dine at the hotel restaurants, hold meetings or visit the hotel.
• Those who came from the infected areas (Level 3: Warning Areas) or transferred flights in Level 3: Warning Areas; however the infected area shall be defined as announced by the government from time to time and are not limited to the above-mentioned three areas.
• Those who refuse to have body temperature taken or show symptoms of cough, fever, shortness of breath, and refuse to wear masks and seek medical advice.     
The guests are obligated to provide information to the hotel with full honesty:  
*The guests shall not withhold information about their own travel history, and the fact that they themselves or others (including their house mates, traveling companions and visitors) receive Home Isolation Notice, Home-based Quarantine Notice or Self-Management of Health Notice. In the event that any guest receives such notice after having checked in or entered the Hotel, the guest shall voluntarily inform the Hotel about the incident without withholding any information.
*In the event any guests, their relatives or anyone who makes a reservation on their behalf, knowingly withholds the abovementioned health risk information with respect to any of the individuals described above or any specific individual (including visitors), the Hotel may terminate the contract, refuse the service and return the deposit without any liability for damages. In the event the Hotel suffers any loss due to said behavior, the individuals involved shall be liable for full damages.

VAT Refund Guidelines for Foreign Travelers

Hotel KUVA Chateau is a Tax Refund Shopping (TRS)-posted store, which has the approval of Taipei National Tax Administration, Ministry of Finance.

Foreign travelers, who make purchases of at least NT $2,000 at Hotel KUVA Chateau on the same day, are eligible for a refund of the 5% VAT paid on those purchased goods. To claim the refund, it is necessary to apply at the port of the departure from the R.O.C. within 90 days following the date of purchase, and should take the purchased goods out of the country.

If you need to apply for the tax refund, you may obtain an application form for VAT refund at the first floor’s tax refund counter.

Requirement for VAT Refund:

Foreign travelers holding passports from countries other than the R.O.C., travel documents or R.O.C. passports without personal ID numbers attached.
